2010 Fiat Punto evo - Locking Bolt Help - TooMuchThought

I have a Fiat Punto and I need the key for the locking bolt. I have taken it to a garage and they want to charge me £240 for the kit to unlock it but I'm wondering if anyone knows what key it is and a cheap place to buy it.

I’ve used these before -

Get all four locking bolts off and get some regular bolts to replace them.

Try a fiat dealer. They will have a set of master keys to ascertain which one is needed . Can’t see it being very expensive.

Go to a back street tyre place, they can drill them off and replace with non locking bolts.

Worst case scenario you will need to source your own non locking bolts

Agree. A good indy tyre fitter will have the tools and -more importantly - the skill to get them off without damage.

One near me charged just £2 a wheel.
