What's it worth - logger

If this is allowed ?

Any ideas what the value of a Saab 9-3 2000(w reg) 2.0 HOT version. Only 54k miles. Fsh, two owners, 12 months MOT no rust

I tried on the Saab forum but they said they won't accept what's it worth posts and it's too old for lot of the valuation sites

For these HOT versions I've seen massive variations in prices so don't want to price it too low but also sensibly

I think you've stumbled upon the problem with valuing something like that. There are very few left, but it is something of a niche appeal. So from the sellers point of view, it rather depends on the right person being in the right place at the right time. It will surely appeal to some, but (IMO) does not have the appeal, or kudos, of a classic shape 900.

One thing I would say though, is that the Saab forum would be the place to advertise it first, assuming they have a cars for sale section. You are most likely to find someone who appreciates it there.

I'm not aware of any ban on threads like this. We do have to be careful posting links to other sites that are in competition to this one.

If you are confident with auction sites then I would consider that option with a decent reserve. Someone I work with got rid of an old Zafira with no MOT and got far more than he ever thought. There is likely to be someone out there who wants just this SAAB.
