Hello,

I'm about to change my front shock absorbers.

I changed rear couple weeks ago.

I called a couple of car part shops and everyone comes with gas filled shocks...

I never fitted front ones and I'm not aware about front shock types (for my car)

I thought it's has to be oil filled shocks as rear ones i fitted..

What type of shocks has to go on the front axle..?

Is the gas filled only for front axle or I could fit oil shocks too ?

They are all gas/oil struts . Replacement of the front struts is a fairly big job . Brake and suspension parts need to be removed so that the whole strut can be lifted from the car., I would also check the coil springs in case any are fractured or corroded.
