Bowler bowled, muggins (me) standing to the right of the wicket he bowled from got a red ball right in the adams apple at full speed.

It hurt.

I know it might not seem good luck, especially as how painful it was, buy you may think yourself lucky you didn't get a few cm away like Phillip Hughes did.
