I don't have direct experience with the Suzuki T250 (1972), but from my understanding, the spark plug caps on this model should have a resistor. This is because the ignition system on this motorcycle is designed to work with resistor spark plug caps, which help reduce electrical interference and noise.

As I remember, the original caps had a metal cover on, every time it rained, you received multiple electric shocks to the legs!

My GT250 1976 was quickly changed to NGK caps and plugs!

Next bike GT750 had the plugs well tucked away so no problems, except the 3 sets of points to set up.
