A car specialist tried to fix my car's engine light on issue by recoding two sensors. He told me no serious faults left and the engine light is off. But after I asked to scann again, his diagnostic scanning tools indicate the following errors:

DTC(4) count

U1802 Vehicle Speed Data Fault
B1418 Fault in status of seat belt fastening information for determining the presence of the driver
B1805 Starter fault
B132A Air conditioning circuit low pressure safety fault.

Then after I drove about 25 minutues, and restart the car, the engine light is on again.

What can be the reasons?, and how to fix?

You don't necessarily "recode sensors". If a sensor is faulty, you replace it and do a BSI reset on the car (its just a set of instructions for removing and reconnecting the battery - no tools or equipment needed)

Not sure what diagnostic tool he's using but you're better off with Diagbox. It gives accurate information and gives the mileage when faults are logged.

I would google "planet owners map" and find someone with the kit to give you a more accurate diagnostic. I have a horrible feeling your mechanic is using a generic "scan any car" reader and just throwing parts at the car based on the fault code.

Thanks! One garage scanned the codes and told me auto electricals should be called to fix it, but another one identify the low votage of the battery. No idea who is right.
