Mercedes E class W213 - 2018 - LED Headlight Repair - Mr 2 Pedals
Have suffered a hit and run and sustained a minor crack to my LED headlamp. This has resulted in it completely NOT working and misting. Am hoping to avoid the 800/1,000 cost as quoted by Mercedes.
Need advice on how best to go about getting it repaired.

You may be able to source a s/ hand lamp . Unfortunately, once the plastic is cracked, water finds its way into the electronic modules in the headlight and wrecks them . You can’t even get these apart to attempt any repair. New is very often the only solution. It may have blown a headlight fuse . Check the under bonnet fuse box , driver side , under plastic cover .
