Hello.

Looking to see if anyone can shed a light on the above petrol car it's a GT engine light on and electric cooling fan runs constantly...I'm thinking if buying...

Have been told could be carbon on valves causing low power.

Is the fix to remove the head and decode everything or is there a chemical procedure?

I'm not privy to any codes.

Peugeot had a nasty habit of putting the cooling fan relays in exposed locations - especially on the 307, 308 and 407.

Over time water and dirt ingress on the contacts affects their operation - they can switch on but don't switch off, or won't come on at all.

Not sure if that's the case here, but I'd avoid any car that engine as a matter of course.

There are 197 Peugeot RCZs on Autotrader.

Look for another.
