Car starts and idles but cuts out when accelerator is applied. They've either tested, or replaced, or have codes for the components listed (I'd bet replaced, since international arms controls have not been effective against the spread of the parts cannon). The catalyst is not clogged.

All sounds a bit modern for me, but I suppose the fundamentals still mostly apply

Spark, fuel, timing,(valve and ignition) mixture (EGR? vacuum leak?) compression.

I understand you can get some of the information from an OBD reader (never used one) and a graphed relative compression test (using cranking current or an in-cylinder pressure transducer) would give you a lot more.

Maybe the fuel filter IS clogged?

If the pump is clogged, it should work on LPG.

Seems reasonable, though I didn't realise LPG was involved.

The translation does mention "gas" but I was assuming it was American English.

Americans are taught that petrol is gas. They can't help it.
