Vauxhall Meriva - Location of EML diagnostic socket - rustonboy

Please could someone let me know where I can find the socket to plug in my little diagnostic code reader? The EML is on and I hope to find it is something minor. Just bought this 2006 1.6 petrol manual Meriva Active. It seems like a nice car but has a few niggles.

Lift the plastic trim under the handbrake . Fitted to a bracket here

Many thanks doc. Turned out to be 6 codes - all P0300 (with 301, 302, 303 and 304) apparently erratic firing on the four cylinders. Since I just bought the car with these codes, I am hoping they have simply been there for some time. So I have deleted them and will wait to see whether they return. Many thanks for your help - really appreciated :-)

That’s good , they could be historic codes . These faults are very often caused by faulty spark plugs or coil cassette pack .
