I've had an accident where I'm at fault. Ran into someone on a roundabout who stalled as I was pulling out behind them . Now, the vehicles been recovered and I'm trying to contact the insurers to arrange for an inspection. The van is driveable ,apparently , but they're thinking about a write-off.
Its olden but golden, wasn't ready to say goodby to it yet..sob..and won't be able to afford another, and I've just had a very sound repair done on the roof , and just m.o.t'd .It was going to be good for a few more years and has very little corrosion.
I always just wanted to run it into the ground until it couldn't go on, but it looks like this won't be possible now? Are there any circumstances where I would be able to keep the vehicle, or does that cause problems for future insurance.
Any advice, please.
