Peter Bowles RIP - Xileno

Peter Bowles, probably best known for his role in To The Manor Born, has died.

That series was very silly, unrealistic but very funny - comedy at its best then. Somewhere in the attic I have the full series on DVD, I must look them out over the weekend.

Peter Bowles RIP - Engineer Andy

The BBC and a few other channels on Freeview/Sat/Cable TV also occasionally show reruns of the series for anyone who doesn't have it on DVD.

Sadly practically no new good sitcoms on TV these days, so we have to content ourselves with reruns or DVD boxsets of old shows.
