Certainly impressive, I suppose being very light gives an advantage. Not much protection for the driver should it flip over. I used to have a S2A Landrover although never got as far as rock-climbing!
I do have a soft spot for an old Landy, ideally a bit scruffy looking!.
Re flipping over, I remember reading a magazine article years ago on the tiny Steyr-Puch Haflinger as used by (amongst others) the Austrian military. Although very capable off road, its dimensions meant that they would tip over quite easily. But such was its smallness, 4 burly squaddies could pick it up and put it back on its wheels!.
