VW Polo - Coolant - Drivethru

HI, The coolant for my Polo should be G13 but this seems hard to find, most of it is G12+. The G13 I have seen is either green or yellow and mine is pink. The car was 2 years old when I bought it and I'm sure it's the original still in.

Does anyone know if G12 would be ok to use? Any advice welcome. Thanks.

If the car is already filled with G12, pink coolant , then stick with what’s already installed. No point in changing to something different. How old is the car? Coolant should have a service life of around 10 years .

G13 is light red or violet colour - not green or yellow.

G12+ and G13 are fully compatible - you can top up with either.
