Hi All,

Would you be able to assist me with the folowwing problem please?

It's a 2011 Renault Grand Scenic 1.5 dCi automatic.

It drove perfectly prior to lock down. It’s been sitting since the beginning of the first lockdown and has somehow developed an gearbox ECU issue in that time.

The car powers up but we can’t get it to start because it thinks it’s in gear because of the ECU fault. Have tried 2 different batteries and same problem.

How could I fix it and how much would it cost roughly? Would a delphi ds150 be able to clear the issue?

Unless you’re absolutely certain it’s an ecu fault, I’d have thought it was much more likely to be an electrical problem with a gear selector switch.
