Light Scratches on Paintwork - ABZNorm

I’ve been driving a brand new van at work this week. Unfortunately when driving into a tight driveway I hit some overgrown bushes and these have caused some very light scratches on the paintwork.

Is T-Cut the best way to remedy this? Don’t want to hand the van back to the (very fussy and particular) regular driver with any issues. ??

You could use T-Cut but personally I have found Farecla G3 or Meguires Ultimate better. You can get them from Amazon or some motor factors.

Less is more when it comes to treating scratches. I would start with a normal polish (ie with a slight abrasive element, not a wax). If that doesn't work then step up to a specialist scratch product.

Polish is abrasive, wax isn't. T-cut is about the most abrasive rubbing compound. Farecla do a range G3 to G10, with G10 being the least abrasive. I use G10 once a year at the end of the Summer to remove the dried on fly debris on the front of the car that won't wash off easily.

I use Autoglym polish and a bit of elbow grease for light scratches.
