Its been a problem around my neck of the woods as far back as i can remember, cars are stolen then dumped and burnt out to destroy the finger prints

Others are stolen for the metals ie copper, car is burnt out after taking bits off, then burnt, then the copper taken out

Always happens on other side of valley to us but the cars burning smoke drifts across the valley and stinks of plastics

A lane in the country has been closed off because its a regular happening in that lane and is gradually destroying woodland next to it
