Hi all,

My heated windshield is not working, but both 30amp fuses (one for each side) are not blown.

Does anyone know which relay is involved please ?

Relay r2 . Top row , second from left . Doubt if that’s the problem . You need to check power and earth supplies to each side of the windscreen wiring , below black plastic window grille trim . Very likely on a car this age that the heating element in the glass is faulty. Remember to check system with engine running.

Yep, thanks for that. I've never had a total failure though on any Ford I've had. Mostly it's been individual vertical elements that go open circuit, ot occasionally, blocks of them.

I'll meter the live side of th fuses next and if they're both getting a supply, I'll meter at the feed to the elements, as you suggest........ebt
