Mazda 6 - 2006 Mazda 6 Diesel low performance, no CEL - Berlinetta27

Hello guys. I'll start from the beginning. I bought 2007 Mazda 6 GG with RF7J engine, 143ps. Car had problems when I bought it and it was in limp mode. Turns out, 1 injector was faulty, I fixed it and got rid of limp mode. Then I noticed that turbo was not working as it should have been, the issue was vacuum hose, which was broken and after fixing it, car was like new, it was running fast and smooth, no problems at all. It had DPF light on while in limp mode but after fixing all the things, it got erased and never saw it again. now, after about 1-2 months I lost power again, I don't get any CEL, checked turbo for leaks and it is fine, the mechanic said the turbo itself is not damaged and works fine, however I get low boost, car accelerates normally up until 3K rpm and then it feels like something is holding it off. The gas pedal seems unresponsive too, because it does not matter if I floor it or push gently, almost same result of acceleration. I got P0402 (EGR excessive flow) code once, I was cruising on highway in 6th speed and TCS + CEL came on dashboard, checked it on OBD reader, cleared and never seen it again. My only guess is that DPF is clogged, but I don't get DPF warning light. Sometimes I get double digits on current consumption, just in case it helps to sort out this issue. Any help would be very appreciated. Sorry for the long post and thanks.

I can’t offer any help here at all but for others reading it this is a fine reminder of why a cheap diesel is an unwise buy. They’re over-complex and trouble prone, a good 1.8 or 2.0 petrol would do 40mpg easy enough and there would be none of this costly pain to deal with. When buying on a tight budget keep it simple and stick with petrol.

Might be a partly-blocked fuel filter not allowing enough to flow through?

My previous Mazda 6 had that engine and I ran it to about 110,000 miles before trading it in, never had a moment's bother with it, but it was mainly A-roads and motorway mile.

My current Mazda 6 has the 2.2 diesel engine with 161,000 miles covered and again no problems.
