Have a problem with my xf

its my little indulgence and does not do a lot of miles took it out art the weekend and restricted performance triangle came on not sure what this means

day after it worked as normal but a message came up and said to view the message center

how do you do this? i have looked in the owners book but nothing there just what it is but no information on how to read the messages.
