Toyota Liteace (M30) 2C 2.0D - 1991 Toyota Liteace - Help Needed! - Michael O

Hey all. I have a 1991 Toyota Liteace and I am struggling to find where the coolant temp sensor is. I have scoured half of the internet at this point and to no avail. I have checked the 2C workshop manual and it doesn't give a clear indication as to where it is. Only that is is somewhere on the engine :/

I would really appreciate if someone could help me out here.

on the r/h top side somewhere, the pics aren't exactly clear.

I would look for a sensor screwed into the cylinder head or thermostat housing with just one wire going to it.
