Vauxhall Combi CDTi 2011 1.3 diesel - Test if engine has seized - Gary Parr

No Crank - no start - AA report P008A - Fuel low pressure circuit - pressure too low. Sporadic faults. Engine seized. Car just stopped (cut-out) - no loud noises or smoke or overheating. I want to confirm if the engine has seized. Test1. Tried: putting gear in 5th - handbrake off - tried pushing van - won't budge. Test2. Removed Glow plugs and tried to crank it by hand (Torq socket and bar) = won't budge. Are there any other tests I can try?

Engines don't seize for no reason, usually lack of coolant or lack of oil. Did it have any warning lights before it stopped? What's the coolant level and oil level on the dipstick?

Take off the poly-vee drive belt . Perhaps one of the rotating parts driven by this belt has seized.
