Hi. I am new to the forum and would appreciate your advice please. My Captiva recently broke down. The DPF warning light came on and the car went into limp mode. I tried to do a regen by switching to manual and driving above 4000 revs. After a few minutes the engine started self-revving and making a horrible clacking sound. I pulled over and stopped, called AA. He said the oil level was way up and showed me oil in the inlet manifold hose, probably also in intercooler and everywhere else it shouldn't be. Advised not to try restarting due to risk of overrun.Garage drained and changed the oil, tried to start it. Engine cranks over, won't start and stalls with what they describe as "hydraulic locking". Facing a repair bill of potentially thousands and a lot of money initially to get to the bottom of the problem in the first place. Engine codes read out were P244B, P2463 (twice), P2084 and P0089. Any ideas on what the problem could be and what I should do next ?
