Hopefully one good thing to come out of this is that people will have fewer meetings, and therefore not need to travel so much because they can do more of their work from home.
A curse of modern society is that there is far too much time wasted in meetings. Either people sit round a table and make stupid decisions that none of them would have made on their own; or they disagree and don't come to a conclusion at all.
As we're in the motoring section, a couple of examples:
Smart motorways - I know there are arguments pro and con but clearly not enough proper research was done before the men in suits elected to have refuge areas 1.5 miles apart.
And going back a bit to the 1970s, some of us will remember the decision by 'suits' to abandon the well-known names of Hillman, Humber, Singer and Sunbeam to be replaced by Chrysler, and then Talbot. And then they wondered why sales plummeted.
