Various cars. - Touch up paints - beershark

I need to get a small amount of paint for touch up purposes on a range of cars including a 1969 Triumph Herald estate, Alfa Romeo Guilia Quatrofoglio, Aston Martin DB9, Alfa Romeo 156 GTA and a four year old Audi RS4 B8. My nearest paint factor is thirty miles away and it’s not feasible for me to take all of these cars there for scanning. The factor says I should ring the manufacture to get the paint codes. There must be a better way ?

Paint code on VIN plate ? I think you might be lucky. An owners' club might be a useful source.
