Hi,

I have a Honda FRV 2005.

My blower motor is dead so I replaced the resister pack which did not fix it. So now I need to remove the blower motor to test/ replace that however in order to get the blower down I need to get the ECU out the way. It looked to me like the ECU was held into its casing by two 10mm bolts right at the front so I have unscrewed them but the ECU still will not come out. It feels like theres something else at the back holding the ECU in place but no amount of wiggling will budge it.

There seems to be loads of videos on internet for Honda civics and CRVs but no FRVs.

Can any one please help ?

Not totally sure, but looks like there is a third bolt at the rear of the Ecu casing. I would disconnect the battery before proceeding any further. ( if you haven’t already done so )

thank you. yes it feels like there is a third bolt but no where to be seen. thanks for the advice though.
