Goodyear Cargo v car tyre - Philbo
I’m replacing the Goodyear Vectors on my BMW which have surprised me by covering over 30k. Shopping around I’ve found the Cargo version in the size I need to be significantly cheaper than the standard Vector. What are your thoughts about sticking these on a 320 Estate front and rear? The only difference in spec is they seem to have a reinforced wall.

Are they purpose made van tyres or XL versions of the same tyres, and yes its often the case that XL rated tyres are cheaper, haven't a clue why.

I would not go below the specified speed rating for your car though, if it requires V i would fit V or higher.

You might find van tyres, if they are commercial tyres as such won't have the grip that you were used to, but they will probably last longer and yes will be more resistant to the pot holed tracks were now drive on.

I’m assuming the XL version of the tyre. It states in the spec Reinforced but still with a V rating.
And yes, could be perfect for the potholed country lanes I live near. And 20 quid a corner cheaper.
