Has anyone used Screwfix No Nonsense Wash & Wax? I usually use Autoglym products, but this is a lot cheaper and seems to have a lot of good reviews. Thanks.

I have and it seems ok to me.

I haven't used the Screwfix one but I'm sure it's fine. Probably made by Tetrosyl in Lancashire who seem to make a lot of the own brand stuff.

My particular favourite at the moment is an AA branded one which I've only seen in Home Bargains. £2.99 for 2.5 litres and it's rich and thick.

Better than Turtle Wax and Zipwax imo.

I've also tried the tyre shine and that's pretty good too.

Thanks guys.

Been using Halfords wash and wax v successfully (tops Auto Express Reviews). Came to buy more: price risen by c50%..

So tried AA as above - 3 caps full plus cold water (not warm)..

Seems as good as Halfords.. much cheaper..

Hi,

I would suggest you to go with Sentinel Autocare. They are offering a wide range of car care accessories at affordable budget.

Have heard Sentinel Auto Care are all very poor quality and have trouble selling their items and have to post spam links on web forums

Find a good car detailing website, there are a few around such as The Polishing Booth, ChemicalGuys(UK), Clean Your Car etc. You'll find lots of excellent products and they all do mail order.

Myself I never use Autoglym, horrid stuff that leaves tiny white particles on the paintwork such that you always haveto wipe over with Isop Alcohol (yes, you do if you look very closely!).

My prefrence in The Polish Booth because the guy is only 20 miles from me and doesnt give any BS about the products. He does his own range of products in addition to the branded gear.

And no, Im not him, just a regular very satisfied customer.
