Hi all,

On my Chevrolet spark 62 plate which I have had since Nov 2019, I have noticed the airbag light on the dashboard comes on occasionally then would go off again and so on, so on. It was on a lot when i first got the car, then it never went on for about 2 months and then this week it is going through periods when i turn the engine on and it is on, then the next time i start up it is off.

I have asked around and people have thought it could either be an electrical fault or a small case of the wires under the seats possibly being loose. I arranged this morning to have it checked in a garage this Saturday morning and the guy i spoke to said it could possibly be a sensor too.

Does anyone know if this would cost a lot to repair if it was a sensor? Or even if i could fix it myself? I am pretty strapped for cash at the moment so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
