I have a water leak in the cabin front nearside that I cannot trace no air con fitted to this car. Any ideas?

First you need to check whether its rain water or coolant.

If its the former, check usual door seals, drain points, any scuttles or plastics below the windscreen.

Yes, check the front scuttle underneath the wipers. There are a couple of drainpoints here which can block with crud and cause quite a build up, they can be popped out to clean or release the water quite easily.

I appreciate this thread is a couple of years old but thanks to you and Gibbo_Wirral for suggesting the drain points in the scuttle panel.

Had water in both front foot wells which was caused by both drains in the scuttle panel being blocked with leaves and debris. Easy to spot if you look up above the engine underneath the scuttle panel.

Cabin water leaks on a Fiat 500

Thanks for the reply the water is not coolant. I have cleaned the 2 drain holes beneath the screen and checked and renewed the sealant on the seam under the bonnet hinge but have so far failed to stop the leak.

Does everything look ok underneath the car.

I saw an odd water leak which was because a bung was missing from the floor pan.

It was very odd because the only way you should have been able to take out the bung was by lifting the carpet inside the car.

Hi Gibbo

Thanks for the advice I have checked the underside as suggested everything looks fine..All the grommets on the cills are in place and in good condition. I have undone several and there is no water behind them. I have the dehumidifier plugged into the car at the moment and when all the seams are dry have another attempt with a hose pipe and keep looking..
