They may well have quite a collection of older British cars in New Zealand. A work colleague emigrated there in 1971. As well as the usual goods and chattels he took his car too. A nice fairly new Vauxhall Victor estate. He told me that cars were so prohibitively expensive there at the time it was more economical to ship it out. He would have lost money here with a sale and have to pay over the odds there, so he worked it out and opted to take it. I suspect many others may have done the same and some could easily survive. Interesting.
