Vauxhall Corsa c 1.2 petrol 2006 - heater matrix replacement - strickjumpers

Hello, i am unsure of how much disassembly is required to remove the heater matrix for replacement, anyone got a link or advice?

I backflushed the matrix with a garden hose, brown water and silt came out but did not help lack of heat.

Literally no heat with engine up to temp and both hoses too cold especially outlet so i guess matrix is blocked.

Any other ideas welcome,

If water from the garden hose went in and came out it can't be blocked, can it? Perhaps one of the hoses is blocked between the engine and the heater?

Brown water and silt tends to suggest it’s got poor flow . Don’t think these are too difficult to change . Remove the lower side panels locate the 2 pipes . These are clamped on and there are o ring seals . Matrix should slide out .
