Hi everybody,
I have a 2011 model diesel 1.6 Peugeot 5008. Last year (in August) I had to let all 4 injectors replaced after they got faulty in a Bosch car service here in Belgium. After couple of months, I got smoke in the engine area with bumpy engine. I towed the car to the same service and they fixed it under warranty (don't know the details but they didn't change any part.). After exactly 1 year, 2 weeks ago, I got the same issue and towed the car again. Now they said that two of the injector holders (aka mounting bracket, retaining clamp etc., the part number 1982g3) got broken. They replaced it with new ones and now it happened again after 2 weeks and I towed the car again. I talked to the mechanic guy and he didn't understand how come such a hard metal part can get broken (we don't know yet if they are again broken or not). He said that perhaps somehow the internal compression of the engine is getting too high. I asked if they used the right injector for my car and he confirmed that they use the part that is suggested by Peugeot. He seemed to be knowledgeable on that to me.
Now my question to you guys, anybody has seen such an issue before? Any help is much appreciated.
