Hello guys,

I am having problems with my 206 1.6hdi van of 2006 for more than 2 months now and i still wasnt able to fix everything up.

Basically, what i am looking to know is the location of the fuel additive ECU on my car so i can unplug it in order to solve the error i am getting "Absence of communication with the fuel additive ECU" with the code "U0046".

Can soneone please help? If you have some photos would be great.

Why do you think unplugging the dpf ecu will clear the fault codes ?

You've since gone into much more detail on the thread on the Peugeot forum, with details of remaps, EGR deletes and damaged / spiked ECUs.

Its better to be completely clear when asking for help with a problem.

Peugeot vehicles were some of the first in the UK to be fitted with a DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) often referred to as FAP. Blocked DPF systems have plagued Peugeot owners for many years and have often been the culprit for poor fuel economy and expensive repair bills. Normally a blocked filter or faulty DPF sensor will cause the ‘depollution fault’ to be displayed on the centre console and under certain circumstances the vehicle will enter limp mode (reduced power mode).
