Hi folks
My wife took our 2011 Seat Ibiza for a full service at the local dealers from where we originally bought the car from.
They changed the oil and oil filter but definitely not the spark plugs, although they charged us for all 3 items.
A few days later I took the car and showed it to a reliable mechanic (a friend of a friend) who confirmed that the spark plugs have not been changed because he can see the old burnt out ones still in the engine.
He went on to say that the coil packs had been removed with a lot of force, while trying to get to the spark plugs and that the mechanics at the dealers should know that they broke the coil. He said the mechanics at the dealers removed the rubber bits from within the coil and on the spark plug sand possibly threw them away, so that the spark plugs look new.
Please advice how I should present these findings to the dealer and should I possibly ask for a part refund?
Any advice greatly appreciated.
