Hello everyone,

Iimported a BMW R80/7 ex military machine when returning from the middle east a couple of years ago.

It was partly disassembled for shipping and thats the state of affairs now.

Iam keen to sell it on and not sure what is the best option for gaining the optimum price.

It was registered and insured in my name overseas, i have a credit card sized plastic combination owners logbook, insurance and road test (MOT) document, also import clearance paperwork, I have never applied for UK registration .

the bike is ex Oman Royal Guard, covered minimum milage and unfortunately the lower end of the engine was replaced at some point, now the numbers do not match.

Can anyone advise what the best option to sell the bike is, im not realy interested in breaking the bike though undobtedly this would yield most profit.
