I wonder how many carcinogenic substances are in your unapproved uncontrolled junk? And toxins? Liver disease anyone? And why not, you only live and die once.

I think there needs to be another purge of the spam posts - quite a few threads have popped up across the forum (not just the Motoring Discussion) over the past week - it doesn't look good to new forum members (other than the spammers themselves) that they are there for more than a relatively short time.

For crying out loud....Most spam triggers something in the software which deletes it automatically. I look at the forum most days, often in the evening, and take out anything that's still there.

It takes only a moment. It takes longer to reply to people who whinge about it. JUST IGNORE IT.

As far as I am aware Avant moderates for free, and we should be grateful for his efforts, and those of his colleagues. This forum does seem unduly popular with soammers, hi ho.

When I get spam post via Royal mail. I put it in an unstamped envelope marked postage to pay and send it to the head office of whoever it is telling them to cease. If it happens again I do it with an old book which is heavier and costs them more.OOnce works mostly but two cure it.FFor avant I've stopped bothering him.TThanks for all you do Avant.CChill with a bit of Bach..
