Cars of the future - hillman

I just read this in the Daily Mail, what do the BRs think ?

Cars of the future - Bolt

Bit out of date that is, as Nvidia made a processor last year capable of doing all that and more, it was just a case of companies making the software to use with the hardware, with even the possibility of making a scanner that can tell if your ill- which could then slow the car down to a stop if it thinks your seriously ill and call an ambulance

tech is out of control in many ways imo, but its not going to change

I just hope to god we don’t drive one of these past a microwave, we could end up going back in time

Looking at what the times are, I don't think it would be too bad being behind the times. I would be quite happy to go back 50 years for everything except dentistry and medicine.

Sorry but your welcome to those times, I had no problems years ago working on cars as it was an enjoyment and gave great satisfaction fixing cars, apart from being a necessity. but now I'm older and can see what can be done in modern tech, I wish they were available then.

it would have saved me a great deal of time and energy having components that lasted longer and didn't break the back bending over and under vehicles repairing them...so I'm all for modern tech for the most part...
