Volvo XC90 - XC90 Trims and other questions - The Palmist

Hello Again Folks,

I am sure you have heard all of this before so will try and keep the questions in one thread.

Narrowed down to 3 Cars

Discovery Sport

xC90

Q7

Budget £16k to £20k

I am warming up to Volvo and kind of decided on it, now the question is on different trims and mileage.

R Design or Exec with high mileage (70000)

Or

SE Lux mileage (50000)

Dealer tells me 70k miles is nothing for these cars.

Any advice on what to look for and what to avoid will be most helpful.

Cars with preferred budget and Color are located 100+ miles away, do you recommend buying online from a Volvo dealer.

Thanks in advance

People on here don't usually advise buying from distance, in case problems arise for the seller to sort out. If your local Volvo dealer is willing to get your favoured vehicle transferred, that might be a solution.

As for buying online, you would have to inspect the car somehow before signing up. Any car, not just a Volvo.

SE Lux auto is the best model and easier to sell than R Design. I’d travel to view it before buying as sales staff will always oversell the condition of any car.

Any thoughts on executive trim

Any thoughts on executive trim

As long as it has leather, auto and doesn’t have any daft sports wheels or kit like the R Design which don’t suit the look or nature of the car then it’ll be fine.
