In common with all PSA models, the stalks are a complete unit, including the clock spring. There are 3 versions for a MK1 3008 without navigation, and 3 versions for one with - all retailing from Peugeot at £327.74....!! The radio and cruise controls are separate and just plug in so can be changed over. Failure of the units on early multiplexed PSA cars (2000-2005 ish) was very common, and there were people that could repair them - for a 3008 it is shown as a COM2008; don't know if these can be repaired - you could ask BBA-Reman. Having said that, failure of these later units seems to be much less common, so a 2nd hand one from a scrapper would probably do. On early cars you only need a diagnostic computer if they have stability program (to program the steering wheel angle sensor), but I don't know about later cars - they may all need to go on the diag computer.
