Indeed it looks a bit generic!

The upcoming D segment SUV sounds interesting to me. I was going to buy a C5 aircross hybrid when it comes out (or the DS equivalent) as Citroen have FINALLY decided to return to their comfort-first roots. However, the behaviour of Macron etc. since the Brexit vote has put me off buying French, I'd rather give the Chinese my money! Might just settle for another Range Rover in the short-term and wait to see how things pan out with used prices for the Jag e-pace. (Nothing wrong with my Lexus - just thoroughly bored with it)

Maybe that is their core problem. Mercedes and BMW and others are very careful to brand their products using distinctive design elements. Looking like a dogs dinner is not ideal.

Well is it just me that thinks the W204 Mercedes C class looks like a facelifted MG ZT? (na Rover 75)

The name IS is already taken (Lexus). Not that the Chinese never copied someone else's stuff before (not that I'm saying that about MG now).

Has anyone else watched this week's Grand Tour? A China theme this time. My conclusion is that anything MG looks fantastic against their home market stuff. Truly shocking lack of taste by European standards.
