VW FSI 2006 - REPAIRS - lucian1221

I have a VW FSI 2006 and I keep getting every so often EPC in my dashboard. My mechanic carried out a diagnost and produced me a list od potential problems, he said it's difficult to pinpoint which one could be the reason. Can you advise me please.

I think we are going to need a better description of what problems you have and a list of fault codes logged. Also what engine size is fitted?

Remove the auxiliary fuse, blow the terminals and re-insert, and voila, the car will be sorted.

Would that only just clear the current fault being shown on the dash, not the cause of the fault, unless it was a bad contact?

Complete myth . Removing the fuse does nothing. In fact it will probably run worse until the engine ecu relearns driving adaptations.
