Unless of course you want a big, daft, unrefined pickup with a long warranty to do the school run in.
Don't fancy this then?

The Rodius in current (called the Turismo in the UK) and previous generation were available (in markets other than the UK and, i think, the European mainland) in 11 seater guise, such is the size of the beast!. I wonder if they would have sold here had they been available. This is is the current shape interior with 11 seats.

As for their looks and styling, obviously that is down to personal taste, but IMO there are some good and some bad. I like the Tivoli and the Korando, but the rest of the range are not that great to look at. The Tivoli XL looks out of proportion due to the huge extra bodywork stuck on the back (great for practicality though), the Rexton and Turismo both look as if their track is too narrow and wheels too small in relation to the body. The pickup (which they can't seem to decide what to call, currently Musso) is also an akward looking thing.
But from what i read, the main problems picked on by the motoring press are ride and handling, refinement (both mechanical and road noise etc), and interior quality. The pickup in particular, i have read that it's ride is VERY harsh (maybe a few backs of cement in the load bay would calm this down). But having said that, the Korando is the current 'caravan and motorhome club' tow car of the year. So i guess it depends where your priorities lie.
The pricing seems a bit variable too with some of them seeming good value but others such as the top spec Rexton, coming in at £38k, being rather more than what you might expect!.
