Honda Civic mk7 2003 automatic - Automatic Transmission Fluid - albapa

I'd like to change the transmission fluid in the 4-speed automatic of this Honda Civic. Manual says use Honda ATF-Z1. Halfords sell "Comma MVATF Plus" which has Honda ATF-Z1 and Honda ATF-DW1 among its specifications - would it be a good choice?

If the specs on Comma match Honda's as they appear to do it'll work fine.

After all Honda don't make oil.

They buy it in like everybody else.

Yeah, that was my thinking, too, but the scare tactics in the handbook (only use Honda fluid) made me hesitant. I guess I will go with Comma then.

Given the choice I always go with O/E parts.

But as stated Honda don't manufacture oil,

batteries,

spark plugs,

ETC.
