There is a really good deal on Groupon for airport parking through A2Z
Having seen all the horror stories has anyone any experience of this company for Meet and Greet at Heathrow?

Seems a really good deal, but as we know All that Glitters is not Gold

The only meet and greet I have ever used is at Southampton cruise terminal using the official company.

I would never use meet and greet at an airport, far too many dodgy operations and looking at Trustpilot they don't appear to be a well managed operation.

I see one report states their car was covered in mud on pick up. Sounds like a friend of ours whose car was dumped in a farmer's field for a week. He found out after demanding they take him to the car as he had waited 90 minutes for it.

He was surrounded by three knuckledraggers when he started taking photos.

Heathrow. Book in at the T5 Thistle hotel the night before you leave your car in their car park and get the Hoppa bus to other terminals right from the Front door. Or take the Pod right into T5. You keep your keys on you. I have used this myself but have no connection to it. Easy as pie. Next year leaving from T3 at 20:00 So I can't use it again...otherwise I would. Restaurant overlooking the Runway. Makes going away very civilised.

Any suggestions/ recommendations for those who can’t stay over the previous night? We’re looking for three nights/ four days parking in early December, flying mid afternoon from Heathrow T5...

Best recommendation is to book early. Google Heathrow parking and compare business parking (the one with the pods) with long-term (the one with the buses you just miss): last time I did that the prices weren't all that different.

That is definitely the way to do it. Last time I used Heathrow I looked at a wide range of options and ended up using T2 business parking; frequent buses and on airport.

It would have worked even better if the return flight hadn't been cancelled for weather and we hadn't been returned the following morning to London City:)

Somehow they must have worked out that it was delay-related because I didn't get charged any extra.

I'd never leave my car with someone I didn't know. The last thing you want when returning from holiday is to discover that something's happened to your car, your means of getting back home.

I was gifted a Groupon offer for a printed canvas of a photo I took in New York. It took six weeks to arrive and the quality was abysmal, so I had it re-done locally. They turned it around in 24 hours, delivered it for free and the quality was fantastic.

Has anyone tried one way car rental, that way you drop the car at the rental site (most are alongside the main runway) jump on the courtesy bus, reverse on return.

I wouldn't be letting some of the clowns involved in these antics in my car, let alone what might happen to it, does anyone seriously think these cheap outfits have safe solid parking on dry land in such an area.

Google "voucher codes" Heathrow parking. I used to use purple parking at Heathrow.. Got some good deals using voucher codes.

But as others say. Dont use meet and greet. At Gatwick couple of years ago someone used my car to go shopping and left his debit card on other flooflo

So I binned it. At Bristol my car did a lot of miles.. 40 plus 1 mile from the airport and airport was refunded my parking charges when I threatened to get the police involved.

Never again...

I fly out of Heathrow typically once a month sometimes more often. Would not trust meet and greet. Have a look at websites such as justpark or directly with one of the hotels. Look for good reviews and remember that buses are free at the perimeter road which can be useful. Never hand over your keys for sure!

Colleague left his car with a 'meet-and-greet' and on return there was no sign of it.

He had a helluva job claiming as his insurance claimed it wasn't stolen as he'd handed over the keys!
