Between family members we have 4 cars with this engine but at different ages.
2 x 2008, 2009 & 2012.
Due to throttle valve fault codes on 2 of them i've replaced one throttle valve & cleaned another 2.
All 3 had signifficant carbon build-up around the EGR valve which sits immediately above the throttle valve, this crud makes it's way down to the throttle valve due to gravity & eventually prevents it working properly.
On the 2012 engine which has only 82k, the restriction was at least 50%.
So I would say at your mileage it would be worth getting the EGR/throttle valve cleaned.
They are both removed with the same 3 bolts so a fairly easy job at the front of the engine.
