Peugeot 2008 - Projector Headlights - Penumbra

Had a Pug 2008 on hire for a week recently and found the projector headlight performance absolutely atrocious - Dipped beam was almost non-existent. I can't believe all projector headlights are this bad or is it just Peugeots?

The ones on the Roomster are pretty rubbish. Those on the Outlander are a bit better. Neither can hold a candle (well they can I suppose) to the LEDs on the MX-5, or the HIDs on my last Outlander, but that is to be expected.

As far as I am aware only had them on one car, a Puma and they were terrible.

I had them on an Almera, that were replaced because the bulbs used to melt the (plastic) reflectors (I believe).

They were no better or worse than the headlamps on the Focus it replaced or the Yaris I have now.

I've driven many buses in the past with projector headlights. They weren't all rubbish, but most were.
