All & Any - Dartford Crossing ... Journey not showing online - Smileyman

Used Dartford Crossing on weekend, the return journey is showing on the account, but the outbound journey (at lunchtime) is missing. I am happy to take the saving, all £1.67 of it - but just a little edgy in case of nastiness later.

Anyone had this problem before - if so what (if anything) happened next?

There is also a secondary consideration should the charge be applied late that the correct fee be applied, the discount for cars changed 1st October, cost is now £2.00 a trip. Will cross that bridge if it should occur!

Yes, happened to me once. Perhaps I was following an HGV so closely it couldn't read my numberplate? Anyone else tried this? Nothing happened next.

Why should anything happen?-it missed you somehow.Must have thought you went thro' the Blackwall Tunnel.

yes, indeed!!

Charge appeared on Wednesday ... 4 days later. At the correct rate of £1.67 too. So all has ended as well as can be expected.

Of course, there could be the copying of the Welsh Government and allow charges to lapse - but I won't hold my breath!
