Whether on not this will be introduced in the UK, with impending brexit, is not stated.

I suspect that we'll implement it even if we go full WTO Brexit, as this sort of thing is normally quite a global thing and many other parts of the world look to Europe as regards such standards. It will help if we do move over to (for example) E10 petrol for those of us running older/more specialist vehicles that can't take the newer fuel blends and need to know which is right one easily.

I have no problem as long as it is clear and makes choosing the right fuel easier.

We have had SP95 E10 - new name E10, for a long while here in France, I avoid it as it is known to give problems in vehicles that don't have a lot of use and in mowers, garden machinery etc. I have diesel road vehcles apart from the 'bikes. Instead I use SP 95 new name E5 because it's only got maximum 5% ethanol as does yours in UK. Most brands are about 3-4% ethanol.

We can also get E85 = 85% ethanol, Really cheap over here €0.69 per litre but very few cars can use it.
