How expensive are cars and motoring in Sweden compared with UK?

Cousin has taken on a contract to work in Sweden and has spent some time on the net researching, but I thought I ask for her.

Not much difference really. 2nd hand hold the value a little better, insurance about the same but covers the car, not the driver.

Just back from Malmo and Stockholm, fuel prices are rougly the same as the UK, could be a little cheaper
